Elanie Bieldt
Starting my illustration career at the age of 12 when I began illustrating my mother's books, I kicked off what would become a prolific career as a freelance designer and illustrator in South Africa.

Illustrating my first book for Lapa (division of Penguin Random House SA) at the age of 18, I continued expanding my skills and portfolio.
In 2023 I moved to London, where I am currently based.

Today, quite some years later, I have worked on 11 titles for Penguin Random house SA, and more
self-publishing projects than I can count.

In my free time I enjoy doing fine art, dabbling in editing and writing, and supporting indie authors wherever I can.

My favourite section of any book store or library is the kids section, in which you'll often catch me doing a happy dance at the sight of a new, beautiful book.
